An international conference was held in December 2019 which aimed at predicting the potential opportunities and challenges that Ethiopia may Exhibit after 30 years, by 2050 in such a way to devise possible solutions as the Ethiopian population is deemed to double by that year. The conference was organized by the Joint Ethiopian Engineering Professional Associations (JEEPA) and Ethiopian Economics Association. It was held at Skylight Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Internationally renowned engineering professionals from different countries have participated in the conference.
